Finally...a beautiful day...fantastic ride...

I am very proud of our team...it's been a few days now and we are really getting the 'rhythm' of riding as a peloton together. We are helping each other...and the team work has resulted in us completing 127 km's during our shift today. We started at noon to phenomenal weather...it was warm and the skies were clear. We even had to put on sunscreen.



We get to meet a lot of interesting and supportive people along the way. We met Harry (with the white hat and beard), who allowed us to use his property for our transition point at the start our ride. He is also currently fighting skin cancer.

We concluded our ride at the entrance of the Natchez Trace Parkway near Nashville, Tennessee - it is essentially a 444 mile bike path that we will be using for the next day or so...take a look at some of the spectacular scenery:
